Back Massage

We are all very busy and tend to put other things ahead of our emotional and physical well being. Stress, anxiety, sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day or standing in one place for a long period of time, etc can lead to increased pain and discomfort, depression,  disease and more.  We hope that our situation improves, perhaps even exercise and watch our diet, yet progress is temporary or intermittent. Massage therapy also relieves pain temporarily, but we can give you the tools and help you develop a plan for living holistically a long and pain-free life.

Massage is an aid to well-being and is the oldest of all treatment used by man to relieve muscular pain, promote healing and relaxation. It is an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs and has been proven to benefit many chronic conditions.

It helps alleviate mental stress and tension of everyday living, improves circulation, increases flexibility, reduces inflammation and fatigue.

Therapeutic Massage can help us become aware of where we hold tension in our body and mind. It can also help to release restrictions in muscles and joints, free-up body posture, release muscle spasms and flush out toxins from muscles.

Massage has an overall effect on the body at every level not just on the Muscular and Circulatory System.

Massage also effects the Nervous System by relaxing or stimulating nerves, depending on the type of treatment. Massage balances the Autonomic Nervous System and thus has a biofeedback effect giving the mind information about where tension is being held in the body.

Benefits of Massage

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related and perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high levels of stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety.

  • Enhanced sleep quality.

  • Greater energy.

  • Improved concentration.

  • Increased circulation.

  • Reduced fatigue.

Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:

  • Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.

  • Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.

  • Ease medication dependence.

  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system.

  • Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.

  • Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.

  • Improve the condition of the body's largest organ—the skin.

  • Increase joint flexibility.

  • Lessen depression and anxiety.

  • Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.

  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.

  • Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling.

  • Reduce spasms and cramping.

  • Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.

  • Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body's natural painkiller.

  • Relieve migraine pain.

All people have innate powers of healing in their body, mind and spirit. Holistic health care practitioners evoke and help patients utilize these powers to affect the healing process. Optimal Health is the primary goal of holistic medical practice. It is the conscious pursuit of the highest level of functioning and balance of the physical, environmental, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of human experience, resulting in a dynamic state of being fully alive. This creates a condition of well-being regardless of the presence or absence of disease.

The word “holistic” comes from the word “whole” and means exactly that. Holistic medicine looks at you as a whole person and not just a sum of individual parts. When you have discomfort, pain (imbalance), let's say with digestion, holistic medicine wants to know what's going on with you as a whole. Which will help to determine what is the root of the problem.
The holistic approach is a conscious way to continuously strive for wholeness by finding natural ways to equally balance all area of existence considering all aspects of one's life. Holistic medicine looks at an individual's overall physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing before recommending treatment.
Ayurveda("science of life") is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 5,000 years ago in India. According to Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the foundation of health is balance between matter, energy and spirit. Disease develops when we are not in balance, when we disconnect from nature, when we forget where we come from and who we truly are.

Today, especially in western society, has been showing us that more and more people are desperately looking to find answers to the physical and emotional challenges at a much younger age, than ever before. Healthy eating, exercise, yoga, meditation are some of the key factors, to find more balance in our life that has been used in Eastern societies for thousands of years with great success.

Through time, as we became aware of some of the natural functions of the mind and how does it have an affect on our body, we realized that thoughtfulness plays a major role in our every day existence.

How we perceive our life, is all in our mind. It’s a thought process that runs on autopilot most of the time throughout the day based on our beliefs system.  Our subconscious talks to us by sending us messages through physical symptoms. With almost every thought, there is an emotion attached to it.  When we are aware of this connection, and understand the symbols and metaphors of our mind, we can take care of our needs and bring ourselves back to balance at any giving time.

On the other hand, when we have a painful emotional experience, sometimes combined with physical pain, our body holds that energy until we release it consciously.  Most physical pain can be traced back to an emotional blockage connected to an event. There are tools we can use to release emotional blockages alongside with massage and energy healing methods, like Reiki.  When we solve the emotional part, the physical symptoms gradually disappear.

It is very important to pay attention to the thoughts that occupy our mind throughout the day! There are messages that require our attention, if we want to heal our wounds! Our soul is trying to communicate with us through the pain we feel.  Unfortunately most of us not been thought about this and don’t know there are solutions to the problem they experience day-by-day. We have the key inside of us to unlock all the doors to our happiness.  There are steps you have to take, if you want to live a healthy, wealthy and joyful life!

We are always searching, for answers…  something that will make our life better some ways. It’s coded in our DNA. And that is the force for evolution.

"I have had a few massages from Judit so far and even after the first one, I knew she was different. She was better than anybody I have ever had before.

During the sessions, she is very in tune with my body's needs and she knows how to apply the perfect pressure and the appropriate technique to all the right spots. Her massages are phenomenal; every time I get a massage from her, I feel healed, whether it was physical or emotional pain I sought her help for.

She has an amazing and healing touch. After her massages, I get my energy, my agility and my mobility back and I feel years younger. Judit is simply the best and I wish to come back for more of her incredible massages.
